Kennedy hands Stella the photograph that Jude gave her, "'What's this?"' she asked, tilting her head to look at it." It's from your father's funeral," Kennedy said." (Bennett 297). Stella was confused on how Kennedy got this photo. Stella realized that she couldn't lie to Kennedy much longer.
