- Nova meets Kade
- Who's Harlow?

- Nova sees an elderly person get their memories extracted
- What are you doing to him?!
- We are extracting his memories, he knows the risks and it doesn't hurt him.
- Nova makes a Youtube video and a real memory at the ice rink
- "'Harlow!' The word sounded far away, but the person was insistently trying to get someone's attention. "Harlow! Harlow!" And then something touched my shoulder and the word, loud, right by my ear. "Harlow!"' (Wunsch 74) 
- Nova learns about her transplanted memories
- "I froze, unable to look away, even when Genie caught me staring from the other side of the glass where she was running the machine that was taking Clyde's memories from him. I wanted to tear my gaze from his face, which was normally so relaxed and happy, but in that moment was distorted into something tense and severe. I stumbled back to the wall behind me, grateful to have something for support" (Wunsch 201)
- Nova saves Kade from getting his memories taken
- Kade, Wake up! We need to get you out of here!
- "'You mean we're actually going to skate?" I asked, trying not to sound as alarmed as I was.  "Um, you thought we were going to break into a skating rink and do what? Bowl?" "I mean...I thought that maybe the breaking-in part would be enough of an adventure or something. Actually strapping blades to our feet seems slightly...dangerous."
- Laws against EM are being put into place
- I am so happy we are making real memories now!
- "'I have to show you something. I should have shown you before, but...I just couldn't do it in that house. It was too risky." He sighed, apparently not knowing what else to say." (Wunsch 297)
- "I pulled his arm out of the first restraint, moving on to the one around his chest, then moved to his feet. He was able to reach the restraint on his other hand and help. We got him free from the bed and he was trying to stand but was having a little trouble. The drugs that were still wearing off weren't helping matters." (Wunsch 399)
- "As the months passed, Enhanced Memories were still a huge presence in everyone's lives, but more laws and regulations were being passed every day to halp make sure it remained recreational and not something that would take over people's lives. It was still a problem, but things were getting better." (Wunsch 437)
