  • What is Fitness and Total Wellness, and why is it important?
  • To put it simply, fitness and total wellness are factors of your personal health. "Your personal health is the overall well-being of your body, mind, and relationships with others" (Kramer 1). With minimal personal health, you could be at risk of many health complications, both mentally and physically. But when you analyze it piece by piece, fitness refers to the ability that you have to undergo daily tasks efficiently and without much complexion. Total wellness expands upon fitness and it includes mental, emotional, and social strength as well. This is important because that without proper exercise, you could become increasingly overweight and lazy, and if that were to happen you could be at serious danger of illnesses like Diabetes, heart failure, and possibly strokes.

  • Social Wellness and its Importance
  • Social wellness is a very important factor in life as it is the capability to understand and meet others' wants, needs, or expectations. Some people who have strong social wellness often are able to multitask their work, family, and social life. Some strong examples of people like this could be:
  • - Single parents with healthy kids- People on the street who remain looking positive- Friends who are almost always open to talk with- Employees with good customer service
  • With a lack of social wellness, that could result in bitter people who could posses traits like narcissism, sociopathic disorders, or complete lack of social awareness.
