Alex, a sixteen year old boy, made a huge mistake in September. Alex drank a bunch of vodka, took his moms spare keys, and took a drive to his dad's house. Alex ran into a lawn gnome and the cops caught him. When Alex gained back his consciousness back he realized that he had thrown up all over a police officer's shoes.
"Yes, son. You ruined my brand-new shoes, smashed up your car, and decapitated Mrs. Wilson's French lawn gnome. You're in some serious..."
"Lawn gnome? LAWN GNOME?"

"Sit up in that chair, you little pisher. Didn't anyone ever teach you about posture?"
"Excuse me, sir?"
Alex gets sent to a nursing home. He gets assigned to work/visit with an old man named Solomon Lewis. When Alex gets to the home, he is greeted by three nurses who tell him about Solomon and what he's like. Afterwards, Alex is nervous to go upstairs to Solomon's room. When Alex meets Solomon, he is immediately hit with Solomon's grumpy attitude and tough demeanor.

Alex, Annette, and Steven put on another musical event at the home and this time, Solomon will be playing in the concert. Alex invited Judge Trent to the concert and this time she was able to attend. After the show, Judge Trent realized that her father was playing on stage with Alex and the "Cha-KINGS". Alex realized that Judge Trent was Solomon's daughter!
