Perseus and Medusa

- Perseus's ordinary world started in a dark dungeon. There was barely any light that came in. He lived with his mother for many days until her father found out about him. They were locked in a chest and sent to the ocean drifting for a long amount of time. Lastly, they end up getting cared by Dictys and his wife. They now live in a normal house with light and freedom.
- Ordinary World
- Perseus's call to adventure started when trouble came across. Polydectes, the ruler of the land, wanted Danaë as his wife. Danaë was very beautiful fiul that Polydectes fell in love instantly. Polydectes wanted him but didn't want his son so he made a plan to get rid of him. Polydectes told Perseus to get the head of one of the Gorgons. He would go off to gets Medusa head, one of the Gorgon. Here is when the call to adventure started

- I will marry Danae.
- Perseus starts entering the unknown where he goes around places to find where the Gorgons are located at. He sailed to Greece to see if anyone knows. He went to Delphi, Dodona, but no one knew where the Gorgons were located at. Perseus needed to find where the Gorgons were at. Until 2 gods helped him find where the Gorgons were at. They also gave Perseus equipment to fight the Gorgons. To find the Gorgons, he had to go to the Gray Women located in a land that was dark and dim.
- Entering The Unknown
- While wandering around Greece, two gods were watching him. They were Hermes and Athena. Hermes gave Perseus a sword that was unbreakable. Hermes also would guide Perseus to find where the Gorgons are at. The other god was Athena. Athena gave Perseus her shield to look at Medusa's reflection without getting turned to stone.

- This shield will help you look at Medusa without getting turned to stone.
- The road of trials for Perseus is that he had to talk to the Gray Women. The Gray Women are old hags with no eyes with them sharing one eye. Perseus needed none of them having an eye. So, he must hide until they start to pass it on. Once the one with the eye passed it on, Perseus ran and took it. Perseus then asked them directions for the nymphs of the North with them giving him full directions. Then Perseus gave the eye back.

- Whom who tells me where the nymphs of the North lives, will I give the eye.

- Sure!
- This is Perseus's last road of trial. Perseus now knew where the nymphs where at but he didn't know how to get there. But Perseus had Hermes who would lead him to the road. There were many happy people dancing to the sound of the flute and lyre. They then paused and gave Perseus gifts he sought. These were: winged sandals, a magic wallet, and a cap of invisibility. He now had everything he needed to fight the Gorgons.
