Storyboard Szöveg

  • Ma'am we need to perform a C-Section. This will be your first maternal sacrifice.
  • You should look for an institution, it'll be too difficult to care for Gina at home
  • Gina has microcephaly. Do you know what that means? She is going to be mentally retarded.
  • Hello! I am so happy to have you here exploring our classroom. Please feel free to ask me any questions! Welcome to your and your child's second home
  • Reading about Professor Mirabella's experience was heartbreaking and caused me to empathize with the emotional journey she experienced as a first-time mother of a disabled child.
  • Msg from Jamie's mom.
  • EMAIL NOTIFICATIONMarieDavis@gmail.com"Hi Ms. B! This is Jonathan's mom. I am emailing you to notify you about some progress I've noticed.
  • From the very beginning, professor Mirabella was not provided with adequate and nurturing support to help her get guidance and resources to help Gina out. Doctors and a social worker complicated situations for professor Mirabella but she was determined and the strength that Gina gave her remained.
  • I would really like if Mason can practice more of his writing skills because he has lots of trouble.
  • ABSOLUTELY! We can start as soon as possible with the appropriate materials
  • As a teacher and someone who has a family member with autism, one of the many ways to help parents feel heard is by understanding the importance of communication and building a strong relationship with families. Creating a unified and welcoming community in the classroom is essential to let parents feel safe about who will be assisting them and their children.
  • Ms. B called to check on you Lizzy. She said Happy Birthday!
  • Being accessible to parents and letting them know there is open communication throughout the day assures them that my help and assistance are genuine.
  • Supporting and providing parents with information and details during IEP meetings is vital. Make sure they are being heard and their concerns/requests are being noted.
  • Lastly, showing an investment towards the student goes a long way for the parent. They will see you as more than a teacher but as a role model and member of their family.
