  • It is the 1899 Malolos Constitution right? Hmm The constitution emphasizes popular governance, which implies that a legislative body, which is representative of the people, is granted absolute authority. .
  • HAAHAH btw you are right Ella! I think it is better if we discussed to each other what we had learned about the seven Philippine Constitutions that framed in our country
  •
  • This implies that the legislative body, which at the timewas the Malolos Congress, would choose the President as wellas the judiciary, including the Supreme Court
  • It has its own distinct features: its preamble reaffirmed the Revolution's goal of "separating the Philippines from the Spanish monarchy and forming them into an independent state with their own government."

  • In this constitution, the General Auditing Office was established by the 1935 Constitution,
  •
  • which listed the composition, powers, and responsibilities of the three parts of government (executive, legislative, and judiciary).
  • Well for the fifth constitutions , it is The 1973 Constitution and the Marcos Dictatorship.
  • While the fourth one is the Japanese Occupation and the Second Philippine Republic (1943 Constitution). It was only functional for the period of the war, hence it was only temporary.
  • In this constitutions, it provides for a parliamentary system of government, with the President serving as the ceremonial head of state and the Prime Minister serving as the head of government.
  •
  • It established republic with three branches (executive, legislative, and judiciary), although no legislature was constituted.
  •
  •
  • Well for the 6thconstitutions is The Freedom Constitution (1986).
  • I don't think I can elaborate everything individually because it's already time.
  • Well this constitution was intended as transitional constitution to ensure democracy and the freedom of the people. The President continued to exercise legislative powers until a legislature was convened under a new constitution.
  • And finally for the last constitutions, it is the 1987 Constitutions. It consist of 18 articles with a preamble.
