- The Second Battle of Saratoga was also known as the Battle of Bemis Heights. The colonists circled the British and fought them and their German allies.
- This battle was also won by the Americans! They forced the British to serrender and retreat North.
- This victory was a major turning point for the Americans. It even convinced the French to aid the colonists in the war.
