There are two best friends, Grayson and Holden. They had a test in class and spent the first ten minutes studying together because friends help each other.
Coach, Adam is being really rude to Grayson right now. Can you help him?
Yes, I will sort this out. Thanks for telling me.
Every day during recess, Grayson and Holden would play together so the other wouldn't ever be lonely.
We forgive you.
Hey, I'm so sorry for being rude to you. I hope we can still be friends.
Today though, Grayson got bullied by a boy named Adam. Holden was shocked but decided to take action for Grayson. He told the gym teacher.
Holden went and told the teacher about Adam. One of the best ways to help your friends is to voice when they need help and can't get it themselves.
Adam came and apologized to Grayson for being so rude. Being the kind friends they are, both Grayson and Holden forgave Adam.
Grayson and Holden let Adam play with them for the rest of recess. From then on, they were the best of friends. That is the story of the "Importance of Friendship", by Mia Gorgan.
