She killed herself, She went into her room and hung herself. She was distraught at the fact that she couldn't see that she married her son.
When Oedipus entered in to the room and saw Jocasta dead he was so in agony he took the pin off her blouse and jabbed his own eyes out to punish him self for no being able to see past his own blindess
