After I finished cutting up the old man's body. I heard a knock at the door and then I heard someone yell, "Open up it's the police."
As I opened the door, I thought "I committed the perfect crime". I opened the door to show them inside. I showed them the old man's house.
As we left the old man's room, one of the police officers noticed a piece of the old man's cloth and went to pull it, moving the board, and showing the old man gruesome corpse.
So I knew what I had to do. I decapitated the two police officers and ran because I already thought up my escape plan, the morning train. So I ran to the train station. But the whole time I hear a beating, a sudden and inexplicable beating.
Then while waiting for the morning train taking a whole 30 minutes the internal beating had finally stop at first I was happy but I soon realized I shorten be.
Then I started to realize that what happened to the old man before he died is happening to me, I was having a heart attack. I knew I couldn't delay the inevitable. I thought I could get away with it but my heart had to tell my tale. My tell tale heart.
