The Life of The Buddha
Siddhartha Gautama, the man who would later become the Buddha, was born into a wealthy Kshatriya class family at around 563 BCE. He was a prince and lived in a luxurious and elegant palace.
On a very auspicious day Queen Maya had a dream in which Siddhartha descended from heaven and entered her womb in the form of white elephant, a symbol of purity and good fortune. She then carried him for 10 months and could see him in her womb. She delivered baby Siddhartha from her side but would unfortunately pass away a week later.

Immediately after his birth a wise man examined Siddhartha and made a prediction based on a set of birth marks.
That boy shall become a great king or a holy man!
Siddhartha's father, King Suddhodana, ensured that Siddhartha would never see anything unpleasant and lived the most lavish lifestyle so that he would never want to leave the palace. At the age of 16 Siddhartha married the princess Yasodhara and had a son called Rahula.
Life is filled with only pleasure son.
Oh my gosh!
When Siddhartha was 29 he visited the city 4 times with his charioteer, in which he saw the Four Sights. The first two sights he saw were an old man, ill and leaning on a staff, and a sick man lying by the roadside.
