Tybalt and Mercutio draw their weapons.
Tybault and Mercutio put your weapons down and stop fighting!
Stop Fighting
Benvolio grab their weapons. How dear you two fight when the Prince doesn't allow fighting in Verona Streets
Mercutio assumes Romeo is scared to fight him. Mercutio then challenges Tybalt.
Tybalt hurts Mercutio
Romeo wants to try and stop the fight. The angered men draw their weapons.
Grave Man
No, 'tis not so deep as a well, nor so wide as a church door,but 'tis enough, twill serve. Ask for me tommorow,and you shall find me a grave man.
Help me into some house, Benvolio, or I shall faint . A plague o' both your houses! They have made worms' mat of me. I have it, and soundly too. Your houses!
Romeo wants Benvolio to stop the fight. They were able to hold Mercutio back.
Benvolio helps Mercutio exit
Under Romeo's arm, Tybault stabs Mercutio. Tybalt flees the scene.
Even though Mercutio is about to die, he still makes jokes. He also makes bad remarks about Tybalt.
After joking around while wounded, Mercutio ask for help into a house. Romeo feels guilty about Mercutio's injury.
