- Sarah went west west with her mom and dad for the gold rush in 1848. They wanted to go west because they didn't have much money so they wanted and needed to find gold. They wanted that because they want to be able to get things that they needed.
- good, now hep me out
- yay I did it!
- As they were on the wagon it started to rain hard and the wagon slipd and they got stuck in the river... but then the mom drownd because she new she couldn't swim but she still tried to get to the other side but she drownd.
- its ok
- waaa
- 3 seconds later the water started to get higher and higher because of the rain and they almost drownd. Sarah tried to find a way to get out before they drownd, after a minute she found a way out.
- yay we found gold!
- yes we did it.
- Sarah was next to the grass and she pushed herself up and then she helped helped her dad so they both got out. Sarah got out because she got her self on to the grass.
- It was still raining a little bit so they both went under the tree to wait until the rain stops. While they were waiting Sarah and her dad were both very sad about what happened to her mom Sarah and her dad started to cry a little.
- Once it stopped raining they both came out and they did not stop, so 1 month later they saw something Shiny and it was glowing and then they both went up to it and it was gold. Sarah and her dad were so happy that they finally found gold and they knew that Sarah's mom will be very happy because they never gave up.
