- Last year, I didn't think about soil conservation, so it seems like there's less crops in the field. How can I improve the situation?
- I know! I'll use this method called "cover cropping". So you plant a crop, like soybeans or rye, to hold the soil in the winter, and the next spring, you plow the crop into the ground. I'll start planting right now!
- Wow! Because I applied the appropriate method the conserve the soil, there's more crops in the field! I'm gonna do this next year, too.
