INTRODUCTION
Today i will be showing you how I get nitrogen from the food I eat:)
Firstly,Nitrogen takes up 78% of the atmosphere.

Nitrogen fixation is the first step. It is what helps nitrogen viable to plants. The nitrogen , then turn into ammonia when it breaks down in the soil.

NITRIFICATION
Nitrification happens next. it is when the bacteria in the soil turns ammonia into nitrates.That is what the plants absorbs. Bacteria plays an important role in this cycle because it helps nitrogen change in between each stages.

ASSIMILATION
Assimilation is next. This is when the plants really get the nitrogen because as plants absorb the nitrates, it gets used in amino acids and nucleic acids.

AMMONIFICATION
When a plant or animal dies, that when Ammonification takes place. Decomposers like fung or bacteria turn the nitrogen back into ammonia so it can be in the nitrogen cycle again.

The last process would be Denitrification. this is when extra nitrogen in the soil gets back into the atmosphere.
