Last summer, my family and I decided to go to New England.
Our first stop was in Mystic, Connecticut.
When we were there, we went to Mystic Seaport, which is the largest maritime museum in the world.
After we visited the seaport, we went to Mystic Pizza, which was the site of a famous 1980's movie.
Our second stop was in Salem, Massachusetts.
Salem is famous for the Salem Witch Trials of 1692. This is when 20 people were accused of witchcraft and executed.
When we were in Salem, we went to two museums that told us about the trials. We also went to a memorial.
When we left Salem, we decided to visit Boston, Massachusetts.
When we were there, we went to the Boston Harbor, which was where the Boston Tea Party took place.
We also visited the Boston Museum of Science.
Our next stop was in Rhode Island. When we were there, we learned how to sail on a small boat.
While we were sailing, we found an island. There were a lot of horseshoe crabs on the island.
When we finished sailing, we went to see Taylor Swift's house in Rhode Island.
After coming back from Rhode Island, we stayed in Connecticut for a few more days.
After a week of traveling around New England, we drove back home to Georgia.
