- Welcome, everyone to the 1787 Constitutional Convention. Today we will be discussing the Articles of Confederation.
- I personally believe that the Articles of Confederation should stay because they allow the citizens to have independence in this new independent country.
- Well, I disagree with your opinion. The Articles of Confederation cannot enforce laws or collect taxes which is what a strong government should do to ensure that this country will be stable.
- Actually, I also believe that we should keep the Articles of Confederation. The AOC allows citizens to resolve problems on their own but, maybe we could tweak it a little.
- Yeah but, I believe we should just change the whole thing all together and make it where the government has more control but, not too much control.
- I guess we better start creating a new document.
- Yeah!
