Backstory

Did you hear Abby, workers are striking.
Yeah, they've been at it for quite some time now.
Workers who belonged to Unions were fired from their employment for participating in a strike. Since the strike had nothing to do with their working conditions WMD LTD argues they shouldn't have taken part.
Inside Boss Office
I can only direct and instruct them. I can't control them.
It is your responsiblity to keep your workers in check!
Strikes are permitted for employees. To obtain a better pay and working conditions, they may go on a strike. Workers may also go on a strike in support of one another. (sympathy strike)
Meeting with the workers
I agree, as you're allowed to strike.
We recieved an unfair dismissal.
They can also act to combat problems that affect their families, networks and society as a whole. Whatever the case the group should adhere to the work relations acts strike procedure.
Meeting with management
My workers were dismissed unfairly!
Some of us agree, it was a hasty decision.
As a shop steward, it is your duty to provide members with direction and instruction. One should resist the need to exert total control over them.
As the shop steward, Layla now has to mediate and communicate between the workers and management.
As it is within their right to strike Layla is taking the matter up with management.
