What are you learning about in school?
We are learning about a child development theorist Vygotsky!
That sounds interesting tell me more about him.
One things we learned is scaffolding. This is when you match the assistance to learners needs. Like if a child is not understanding how to add you have to break it into more steps so they understand.

I really enjoyed learning about him. He also had a theory called zone of proximal development. This is the differences between what one can do alone or with assistance. Like I can add alone but I needed help learning about Vygotsky without it being so difficult I won't understand him. Learning about him was in my zone of proximal development.

I am always right! I also learned about private and inner speech. Private speech is comments intended to regulate own behavior. This when like you are talking yourself. Inner speech is your thoughts.
Now I know what it means when even I have inner or private speech!
But there is more. He had a lot of theories like intersubjectivity. This is the social nature of cognitive development and shared understanding.
