- When they met, they fought and wrestled with each other.
- This was Gilgamesh. He was a very selfish demi-god king who ruled the city of Uruk.
- This is Enkidu; sent from the gods/goddesses to make Gilgamesh a better king. He is half-beast half-human.
- They realized that they were evenly matched, later in the fight so they stopped. They eventually became friends and went on many adventures together in which they learned important lessons like friendship, courage, and respect.

- Their greatest adventure came when Ishtar, the goddess of love and war, asked to marry Gilgamesh but when he said no, she got so angered that she sent the bull of heaven to destroy the city of Uruk.
- The Bull of Heaven. (Fake bull, a pitbull because storyborad that doesn't have bulls for free).
- They defeated the bull and in doing so, angered the gods/goddesses, the Sumerians followed a polytheistic religion, and decided that Enkidu must die because of Gilgamesh's defiance.

- Gilgamesh was sad at the death of Enkidu and set out on a journey to find the secret of eternal life. He hoped that by discovering this secret, he could bring Enkidu back to life. He traveled everywhere to find the advice of wise people to find the secret to be immortal. On the way he faced many challenges and got great advice from people (like Utnapishtin).
- Regardless of all Gilgamesh's work, he was not able to find the secret to eternal life. He returned to Uruk, a different person. He realized he had a lot to learn about being a good king and a good friend due to the humbling of his experiences. This shows the importance of friendship and loyalty.
