  • Claudius and Gertrude are discussing Hamlet's behavior.
  • Why do you think Hamlet is acting the way he is acting
  • I don't know, but I've noticed his behavior too. He's been acting strange.
  • Claudius and Polonius are spying on Hamlet and Ophelia's conversation.
  • How are you doing today Hamlet?
  • Not so good.
  • Hamlet is walking around considering whether or not to take his life.

  • Hamlet sees Ophelia coming, she has order from Polonius to give back the token of love Hamlet gave her. Hamlet is so mad he denies even having love for Ophelia.

  • Cladius think that it is more to Hamlet's anger then just the love he has for Ophelia. He decided to send Hamlet away to England, hoping it will help Hamlet get his act together.
