- PALEOLITHIC AGE, Most Paleolithic inventions and technologies were in the form of tools and weapons, like bows and arrows. They also invented composite tools, using a method called flaking to produce sharp points and edges on the spears
- Mesolithic tools were generally composite devices manufactured with small chipped stone tools called microliths and retouched bladelets. The Paleolithic utilized more primitive stone treatments, and the Neolithic mainly used polished rather than chipped stone tools.
- Neolithic weaponry grew more technologically advanced, as well. Daggers, axes, and arrowheads were all used by Neolithic warriors. These were primarily made of stone through the same methods as stone tools, and then mounted on wooden handles and shafts.
