Yay! I am so happy.
Hi girls. Today we are going to play pick and guess!
Each one of you is required to take only one cup when blindfolded.
I chose the grey colour.
I chose the yellow colour.
I chose the green colour.
The teacher introduces the play activity to the learners. The teacher tells the learners the name of the play activity which is pick and guess. The learners seems so excited to play.
After taking one cup, take the blindfold off and tell me the colour.
The teacher then explains to the learners that they are required to take only one cup , and they must do this while blindfolded.
Name a home item with those colours.
A fridge.
A dress.
An umbrella.
Good! now say all the colours.
After picking up one cup, the learners then mention the colours of the cups they picked up. Each learner is required to say the chosen colour out loud.
Yellow.
Red and grey.
Green and blue.
The learners now stand next to each other wearing blindfolds with the help of the teacher and they try to walk towards the coloured cups. Each learner is suppose to pick only one cup and say out the colour of the cup.
The teacher asks the learners to name any item they can think of that they use in their homes that correlates with the colour of the cup they have chosen.
The teacher seems to be impressed with the learners responses and ask them to mention the colours of all the cups. Each learner has the opportunity to say at least one colour.
