- Hamlet meets ghost, and finds out it is his father. His father then confirms that his uncle murdered him. He tells Hamlet he wants revenge from him.
- Ophelia tells her father that Hamlet pulled her and was acting shady. Polonius tells her to keep her distance from Hamlet, and that he's mad for her love.
- The queen and Polonius agree he'll hide behind the curtain so when Hamlet comes in, he can figure out what is wrong with him. However, when Polonius outs himself, Hamlet gets violent and stabs him, thinking it was the king.
- The king and Laretes agree that they must seek revenge on Hamlet. They decide on a dual between Hamlet and Laretes, but plan for a poison drink and covering the sword in poison for Hamlet to die.
- Instead of Hamlet drinking the poison drink, the queen drinks it before anybody can warn her, which ends up killing her. After she dies, Hamlet then angrily kills Laretes, then makes the king drink the poison as well, killing him. Hamlet then dies, leaving only Horation left to tell the story.
