Siužetinės Linijos Tekstas
The teacher is telling the kids the history of Ancient Greece.
In Ancient Greece a direct democracy started around 500 B. C.
Only men were considered citizens in Athens but they also had to be wealthy to be a citizen and they had to be born in Athens to be a citizen, too.
CITIZENS ONLY CAN ENTER THE AGORA!!
YOUR NOT A CITIZEN BECAUSE YOUR POOR AND YOU WEREN'T BORN IN THIS COUNTRY!!
The woman were only allowed to go into some parts of their own house and could rarely go outside.
You can only stay in the basement of your house and you can't leave your house until we tell you!
Soon in Athens woman and poor people were allowed to vote.
Each citizen had a right to make their own case and have their own opinion to choose what they want. There were no lawyers.
Court starts now.
If a citizen wanted to make their own opinion the majority ruled of who wanted that person's opinion over the other person's opinion.
She won because the majority wins.
All in favor of her opinion raise your hand.
