What I learned from Anthropology

I learned the four different subfields of anthropology. Its very interesting to me how broad the study of anthropology is. I also learned that different societies view gender differently...
...From the western standpoint, I did not even begin to think that to other cultures biology did not necessarilydeterminethese differences, but something much more spiritual. Overall, I learned that even today, there are many societies that practice so many things that I would have never known or even realized existed without this class.

I learnedsomething that would help me in the future. The main thing is viewing cultures with cultural relativism. I think that applying and viewing things from their contextis applicableto many things outside of anthropology as well.

I think five years from now,I’llremember how different people around the world live. I will alsorememberall ofthesmallthingsthat contribute to human behavior around the world. I also really loved learning about cultural anthropology, so I think I will continue studying this in the future.
