Classical Conditioning Samonie Reed and Caitlin Lopez
Hey!! Why the heck did you throw that potato at me!? And why are you saying pizza??
PIZZA!!!!!
In this situation the UCS would be the visual stimuli of an object approaching Paola. The UCR would be her reaction of blocking what is thrown at her and possibly even shouting from fear!

PIZZA!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Robby would continue to randomly sneak up on Paola, yelling the word pizza followed by the throwing of the potato. This happened over multiple weeks and just like that, Classical Conditioning!

Paola, would you like a piece of...
Hahaha! She thought Dana said "PIZZA" and reacted as if a potato was gonna hit her! Brilliant!
AHHHHHH NOOOOO!!!
...Chocolate?
Classical conditioning has occurred! The CS is now the word "pizza". When Paola hears the word pizza she gets scared and blocks the hypothetical potato that is going to hit her. This reaction is the CR. In the situation above, she reacted because she thought Dana said "pizza" even though she really said "piece of". Both sound similar!
