Well when plants go through photosynthesis to create sugar things like yeast or bacteria can help break them down using fermentation to create foods. An example could be a grape which uses photosynthesis that is broken down into a smaller substance such as wine!

So plants go through a process called photosynthesis where it takes in and uses light energy to convert into glucose and oxygen to be released.

Cellular cells break down glucose is when cells break down glucose and release energy like ATP. This happens in the mitochondria
