Claire and her dad are home alone. Suddenly, Claire's dad starts making weird noises and has a stroke. In confusion and worry, Claire quickly calls for help.

Claire is in class with Mrs. Selinsky when an emergency lockdown occurs. Claire is placed with her science group and gets a text that her dad is in the hospital. Mrs. Selinsky isn't happy with Claire getting out her phone and snatches it. Surprisingly, Regina stands up for Claire.
