  • Jambo! This is Caleb. His warafiki call him Kidogo, which means little in the Swahili language. He is the smallest six year-old in Kamala village in Tanzania, East Africa. He lives with his three older sisters who try their best to watch over him, but it’s a full-time job.
  • Come Back!
  • Kidogo’s mischievous behavior brings disasters wherever he goes. Shagalabagala-means mixed up over the top mess! A normal daydream for Kidogo is flying over the lagoon, catching Bugabuga with Babu. Along with staying out of trouble with his sisters, it’s a far off wish for Kidogo.
  • Grace has more responsibilities than her other sisters because she is the oldest. Her outside kitchen sink makes a brilliant place to scour pots with handfuls of sand.
  • CRASH! “Kidogo, come back! And help clean up these dishes!” Shouted Grace.
  • When girls are not working in the kitchen or helping with younger siblings, they enjoy playing hopscotch. Kidogo tags along, hoping to impress his sisters and their friends.
  • Plop, Plop, Plop!“Kidogo, we are trying to play, give me back the rocks!” Said Faith.
