- The Great Pyramid of Giza is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
- Pharaohs did not live in the pyramids. They had them made as a place for burial. Some of the pyramids still stand partially today.
- King Khufu had the pyramid built while he was ruling. Then it is said he was buried there.
- Ancient Egyptians thought that a person was allowed to bring whatever goods they had with them into the afterlife, so King Khufu was buried with gold and riches.
- Osiris was the king of the Underworld. Egyptian kings were mummified, and then Osiris would take their soul with him in the afterlife
- King Khufu's body was never found. It still a mystery today. People think he was buried in his tomb and then the body was removed later.
