- Here are two really important stuff for the Phoenicians. One of the important stuff for the Phoenicians is cedar wood. The reason Phoenicians needed cedar wood is because it was a really useful trading item and it was easier for the Phoenicians to trade. Another Important thing for the Phoenicians is the Phoenician alphabet. The reason the Phoenician alphabet is so important to the Phoenicians is because they had a way to communicate and the Phoenician alphabet led to the Greek and then the Western Alphabet we have today. Sally the Sheep's village needed these things so they can communicate and trade and get more food this way.
- After a few days, Sally and Phillip continue their journey to find the Mediterranean Sea. Sally is wondering if Phillip is even taking her to the Mediterranean Sea. As Sally and Phillip walk, they spot a place where they are able to talk to gods. They spot a parrot named Poly who is able to talk to gods. Sally lured Poly by throwing many many many crackers. It got Poly's attention! Poly began eating the crackers when Sally jumped out and scared Poly. Sally wanted to know where they can find a water god. Poly explains that there is not only a water god but there are many gods. Ploy wants to know if they want information about the gods but Phillip and Sally decline the information.
- Phillip and Sally are at the Tigris River but Phillip wanted to stop walking. He said he was going to take the truck to get to the sea but there was only room for one passenger. Sally burst into tears until a tiger from the Tigris River saw her crying and came up to her and said he could assist her. The tiger took her back to his place in the Tigris River which is the heart of the "M" that Sally has been looking for. She stopped crying and was grateful fro his help. Then the tiger explains that this is the Tigris River and that next door is the Euphrates River where they take little creatures like Sally and say "You Afraid!?" Sally's heart fell to the ground and in fear, Sally ran away from the fertile area and went back to her village.
