- Odysseus and his men arrive at the island of the cyclops, Polyphemus. They find his cave, which in they see blocks of goat cheese, and milk. Odysseus and him men get stuck in the cave. They finally escape by stabbing the cyclops in the eye

Then Alcinous tells hi that he will be going hoe. Alcinous gives Odysseus his best sip and crew to take him back home to Ithaca after 20 years
