Many students like you and me are often overwhelmed by the sheer amount of work we have to do. Fortunately, here are five strategies to help you mitigate the harmful effects of stress!
3. Listen to Music
Sometimes, you may just be in need of a little rest. Your health is more important than your homework, though; teachers will understand if you can't finish in time.
4. Exercise / Go Outside
Calm your mind before taking on a new task. If you're panicked, you won't be able to complete your work to your best ability. Sort everything you have to do into a mental schedule (which hopefully you follow).
5. Plan Your Day
Whether motivational and inspirational or soothing and relaxing, music can put you in the right frame of mind for your work. Careful that you don't get drawn too far into that musical world, though...
A breath of fresh air always helps you with a new look on things. Not only does this get you into good physical shape, but you can learn many things from nature and your environment.
Although personally I prefer improvisation, I find that it's useful to have a master plan once in a while. Whenever I feel my life is too cluttered, I list all my duties on a piece of paper or Google Doc and then set time constraints for each one. In this way I can avoid procrastination and provide myself with more self-confidence.
