Mr. Jacobs, Something doesn't feel right it's not what you think. It's too quiet, too cold.
It's just nerves, proceed with the mission.
The main message the author wants the reader to learn is that young people can take charge when adult systems are broken. I think this because in this scene Lucy tries to tell Mr. Jacobs that somethings not right, but he ignores her superior talent and tell her to proceed with the mission. Once they proceed Lucy hears sudden screams and finds all 5 of her fellow agents were killed. All because Mr. Jacobs wouldn't listen.

You owe $60,000 in damages to Mrs. Hope's house.
The main conflict of the story is character vs. society. This is because when they're just trying to make money and do their job but people are always mad at them. For example when DEPRAC showed up and told them they owed money but all that happened was Lucy threw a flare to save Lockwood's life, he was about to get pounced by the ghost Annabel Ward. Keep in mind that ghost was a very powerful type 2 ghost. People also get mad just because they don't have a guardian, they're a kid-ran agency and so on.

The scene I chose to represent characterization is the scene where Lucy steals the necklace from Annabel Ward. I chose this scene because it shows how here she's bold because she just acted in the heat pf the moment without a second thought. Later on Lucy says that she didn't know why she took it, this supports my thought process since she didn't think before taking action.
