Today on channel 10 news, we will discuss how social media is causing todays children to no grow up
Thats right James, studies are showing that social media is one of the leading causes for children to be underdeveloped. Lets take a look at some of the facts
The first issue that we are finding with social media is online bullying. Online bullying gives children the chance to say things that they might not say in person and in result were seeing higher suicide rates. 
Social media is also causing children to miss out on real-world experiences. Children used to go outside, play with peers, and spend time with their families. These activities aid growth because they allow them to take small risks and learn from those experiences.
That is correct Kathy and lastly, Children today are losing the ability to think for themselves and instead are being influenced by these people with platforms. This means children are not growing up because they are wasting away their brainpower trying to be like the “popular” people that they’re lacking individuality.
That is the end of our segment, we'll leave you with this final thought. Everybody should understand that children are being negatively impacted by social media. By understanding these ways in which they’re being impacted, we as a society can make changes to help our future generations.
