MicroLED produce their own light, and their resolution is better. These displays also last longer, and are shock-resistant.

High cost may not be the biggest concern, however it is not widely available, but we do hope it will be spread better.

Everybody else was working on normal size LEDs, so we thought there would be many applications by making it smaller.
Would you like to elaborate on challenges that came across?
I'd say that the efficient transfer of microled from water to backplane is an obstacle. The mass production and high cost might come through.
