- The British formed a treaty with the Cherokee and British thought they were in charge of Cherokee
- The peace between the British and the Cherokee last 30 years then the french and Indian war broke the peace

- The french and Indian war happened. The Cherokee got no protection from the British. The Cherokee felt cheated by the British so they took the settlers horses.
- Then The Cherokee war happened. The Cherokee war last about 2 years which led to so many Cherokees dying. This resulted in many deaths .
- The french ended up losing all there land. The Cherokee had to give up most of there land to the British. British took over, and the treaty created a boundary diving the Sc colony and the Cherokee territory.
