- Stanley is forced to face supernatural when Stanley is in the wrong place at the wrong time he blames it on the curse from his no good dirty rotten pig-stealing great great grandfather. His great great grandfather had made a promise that he didn't keep and since he didn't keep it his family would be cursed until someone in the family broke the curse.
- Man vs Man
- Look what I found! I hope ill get the day off.

- Stanley and the others are faced against nature because they have to be very cautious for the yellow spotted lizards and other species. The lizards, snakes, and scorpions are very poisonous and if someone is bit by one they will die or get seriously injured. Stanley and Zero are trying to keep as calm as possible while the deadly lizards crawl on them.
- Man vs Self
- Caveman, are you okay?
- Stanley is faced against society when no one excepts him to the camp. Everyone in Stanley's group didn't except him before they had gotten to know him.
- Man vs Man
- Do you really think I am going to give you water?
- You have to give me water!
- Stanley is let into a conflict with X-Ray because he found a fossil that X-Ray did not think he deserved. X-Ray had been at Camp Green Lake longer then Stanley, so he believed he was more worthy of the find.
- Stanley gets into a conflict with himself when he doesn't believe in himself. Stanley believes its impossible to get out of his hole because his body hurts so bad that he is mentally blocking himself from getting out of the hole.
- It hurts too much to get out.
- Stanley is forced to have a conflict between him and Mr. Sir because Stanley had caused Mr.Sir to get slapped by the Warden and bee in incredibly pain. So, the next day Mr.Sir would not fill up Stanley's jug because he blamed the pain on Stanley.
