One major theme of the Monsters Are Due On Maple Street By Rod Sterling is that .One example that supports this theme is when Steve/Charlie/Les Goodman turn on one another this shows that nobody in the town trusts each other in the moment. Another example is when when Charlie blames Steve for the radio that his wife was talking about and Steve's wife also said he spends a lot time down in the basement fixing or trying to talk to someone on the radio. Another problem is when the lights on and off through out the neighborhood everyone starts blaming each other screaming and destroying the town and the aliens just watch them go crazy thinking that one of them are Aliens or some kind of monsters in conclusion these are all the problems that happened in the story.
