  • Old Major gathered the animals in the Manor Farm and gave a speech about his dream about living free and happy. The animals were treated badly by the master Mr. Jones. The animals sang 'Beasts of England' and got motivated to plan a rebellion.
  • Chapter 4
  • Old Major dies and naturally Napoleon and Snowball replace Old Major's role. The animals achieve their rebellion more easier because Mr. Jones is often drunk. The animals kick out Mr. Jones and change the farm name into Animal Farm. They also made their rule, 'The Seven Commandments.'
  • Chapter 5
  • Animals begin to work hard for their food. There are also some conflicts between Snowball and Napoleon since they have different opinions. Snowball tries to teach other animals how to read and write but it is not easy as he expected. So Snowball reduces the Seven Commandment into one sentence, 'four legs good, two legs bad.'
  • Chapter 6
  • Animals in other farms learned and started to sing Beasts of England which was spread by flocks of pigeons sent by Snowball. Including Boxer and Snowball, animals attacked Mr. Pilkington and Mr. Frederick's farm and the humans defeated.
  • Napoleon and Snowball argues a lot especially about building windmill. The animals eventually takes side of whether in Napoleon's or Snowball's side. At last, Napoleon takes power.
  • Napoleon says he wanted to build a windmill and says Snowball stole his idea. The animals work hard to build a windmill. A day after a strong wind, the windmill was destroyed and Napoleon thinks Snowball destroyed it.
