Your Medrash says that the Messiah will be a human form of God. In Leviticus 26:12, God says "I will walk amongst you", and the Medrash says:
You believe the Messiah, known as "Shiloh," will be a human descendant of King David, symbolized by the term's connection to an embryonic sack or human son.
To give a metaphor, God will walk in the Garden of Eden with the righteous and say "Don't be afraid of Me, I'm like you." But they will still have reverence for Him.You see - it says God is like them! That means that God will be in the form of a human being!
Oy for someone who does not know anything and thinks they are a wise expert. Were you not concentrating? The Medrash started by saying that that was a metaphor.You are not supposed to take it literally. It means in the world to come, all of the righteous will have a clear prophecy like Moses did, and they will not be paralysed by fear.
That's what "I'm like you" means, not that God will look the same as human beings, that's ridiculous.
