- Arthur, he is the main character. He has asthma and he is adopted. This is his first year at his new school. He runs into some trouble when he found a minute hand of a clock that saved his life.
- Mister Monday, he is the antagonist. He wants the minute hand of the clock because it possesses great power. He has an army of dog faced fetchers.
- Arthur has an asthma attack, and this is where Mister Monday gives him the key/minute hand, and it saved Arthur's life.
- In Mister Mondays lair, Arthur fought the dog faced fetchers, Dawn and Noon. He used the minute hand/ key to destroy them. The third one Dusk betrayed them and helped Arthur fight. With the help of his new found friend Suzy they beat them together.
- This part is the climax. This is when Arthur fights Mister Monday. They are in his lair, Arthur stabs Mister Monday in the lung and then he Obliterates into pieces. Mister Monday is using a book of spells.
- This is the falling action. This is when Arthur becomes the rightful heir. The Will chose him.
- This is the resolution. Arthur did not accept the will's offer. So, he went back home with his family. He didn't want to be the rightful heir.
