- I needed some jewelry for the party that my husband and i got invited to, so i went to my friends jewelry store. SHe has exactly what i was looking for.
- I had the time of my life at the party. When it was time to leave i quickely grabbed my jacket so that no one would see me. We got a cab and went home.
- When we got home i looked if the mirror, and the necklace was gone! “I’m going to retrace your steps!”, said my husband. As i waited and waited for my husband to return, i got so tired i fell asleep.
- ”I couldn’t find it anywhere.”, said my husband. “You must write your friend a letter saying you accidentally broke and that you’re getting it fixed. We will go to every jewelry store, and find a necklace that looks just like hers, and give that to her.”
- We drove alrpunf to every jewelry store trying to find a diamond necklace similar to the one i got from my friend. After a long time of looking, we found one close enough to hers. This necklace costed us 36,000 dollars, and we borrowed money from everyone we know.
- Ten years later, we finally payed everyone back the money we borrowed, and we were poor. I ran into my old friend that i borrowed the necklace from in town. I ended up telling her everything we did with the necklace, and she said that the necklace i borrowed from her was false and not worth more that 400 to 400 dollars.
