  • B Cells- In the KD disease, the immune system responses by producing antibodies to bind the diesase from foreign invaders.
  • Macrophages- In KD the immune system responds by playing a role in the defending of the host of the inflection for the disease.Suppressor T cells- Singals immune response to end. 
  • Helper T cells- In the body, the immune system responses by helping to activate the B cells to help create antibodies and macrophages to destroy the pathogen. Killer T cells- Overall, destroys the cells that have became infected.
  • Antibodies- In the KD disease, help fight the toxins that it is producing. It does this by attaching to the antigen of foreign material.
  • Antigens-Antigens main function for immune response is to overall stimulate the immune response by activating the White Blood Cells that fight the disease.
  • Memory T and B Cells-These two cells remain after invading the organism. Even when it has been destroyed to allow forquicker responses in the future to a pathogen.
