I am not really trying to solve any form of issue here. But there are only a handful of places that grow cotton at such a rate in the world. And a lot of our clothes and bedsheets and things made out of thread are a result of cotton. If we didn't do so, then the world would not have these important daily items.
Sustainable agricultural practices that would help farmers like me would be Integrated Pest Management. It would definitely be beneficial for me. I would be able to get rid of pests and not have to use too much pesticide --- this would also lower the cost of pesticides --- and I wouldn't have to worry about my workers' pay that much anymore as well. Killing two birds with one stone, eh?
