The 2 bees are some of many that were affected by the fire.
As the bees attempted to escape, they are only beginning the struggle of finding a new home.
The bees must travel many kilometres to reach a safe habitat. Only then can they be safe from the fires temporarily, until another one arrives.
The fire burned down the hives and the bees had to fight to survive.
If we didn't have these plants, it would cause a knock on effect all the way up the food chain.
Bees play a very important role in the environment. Without them, we wouldn't have the plants that they pollinate.
To help, you can make a bee box so that bees can have somewhere to live.
There are many different ways to help preserve bees' environment and save their habitats.
You can also help by planting bee-friendly flowers in your yard, and letting your garden get a little bit messy.
This will encourage bees to come and pollinate your flowers, therefore helping the cycle.
