- Today is the day!!!!! SPRING BREAK! Marissa was so excited. She couldn't wait to go home and relax. But what she didn't know was how the world was going to change.
- Right when Marissa gets home she goes to lay down on the couch. Her mom was watching TV and it was turned up where Marissa could hear. The TV was saying how there is this new virus called "Covid 19" They didn't really think much of it until it got worse.

- The next day Marissa decided to watch the news to get more information of whats going on. The news was describing the virus as deadly. So many people had Covid and many people died or were hospitalized. The news also required everyone to wear masks to keep themselves from the virus.
- When Marissa was walking to the store for some snacks she noticed everyone wearing mask and were very serious about this new disease.
- When Marissa walked into the store the first thing she noticed was that almost everyone was wearing a mask. Many people looked at her crazy because she wasn't wearing a mask. As Marissa was looking for snacks she noticed most essential items were gone. Most of the store was empty due to how many people panicked finding out there is a deadly virus.
- When Marissa went home she noticed her mom speaking on the phone. Her mom sounded surprised and a little upset. When her mother hung up, Marissa asked what happened. Marissa's mother told her that she will be doing online school until its safe enough to return to school. She must also wear a mask everywhere she goes.
