- Coraline and her parents move into the Pink Palace. It is a horrible block of flats, full of many strange people.
- Coraline discovers another world! Everything is the same but better! Her parents are loving, kind, create amazing food and she has an incredible house. The only strange thing is, they have buttons for eyes.....
- But it's strange, they are persuading her too sew buttons onto her eyes too! Coraline is shocked and disgusted- she refuses. But if it keeps her with her new amazing family...
- The Other Mother is evil! She locks Coraline in the cellar with ghosts children, kidnaps her parents and will either kill her or take her soul!!
- With the help of a strange gift from neighbour, Mrs Spink, Coraline tries to defeat the Other Mother.
- She succeeds and defeats the other Mother, saves her parents and returns to the normal world!
